Steve Beats Nick Shocker

In an unexpected turn of events at the Standish Woodland Chase today Steve, the fatter of the two bloaters beat Nick, the slim goodlooking one, by five minutes. Nick must be rueing the fact that just prior to the race, convinced of his superiority, he wagered a sizable amount on his beating Steve at the Stroud Half Marathon. Based on this evidence he needs to do some major training if he is not going to end up out of pocket.
