Nick has been putting in a stelar performance in the challenge lately. He has increased his running/cycling levels and is sticking rigidly to a "You are What You Eat" type diet. Steve must be regretting his bold upping of the ante. The Prize is now first one to 12 Stone gets £50! Nick is only 1.5 pounds and a long wait from his winnings. Steve has put in a good performance too but is lagging at 12 Stone 5llbs. Check out the graph here.

Nick Wins Leg 2 of the Motivation by Humiliation Challenge
Things are well set for an exciting final leg to the Challenge. Nick has raised his game to leave fat Steve waddling in his wake as the pounds fell away. After a promising 1st month for Steve, he showed a tremendous lack of bottle and commitment by eating too much and spending too long sat on his ar*e. The fat manager from Barnstaple is a pathetic excuse for a dieter and deserves to be roundly humiliated for his feeble attempts at weight loss. Already he is making empty promises like the manager he is. Steve claims that he will be under 12 Stone by the 21st March. He will have to use all his number fiddling skills to pull that one off!
Meanwhile Nick is planning ways to spend his well earnt winnings. Checkout the graph here

Windows Flickr background switcher
Excellent easy tool to use. If you have Flickr account this tool is a must. Point this tool at a flickr tag or set of tags and it will change your background periodically. You can filter by user or just use all user tags.
This is probably the coolest tool I've found in the last couple years aside from Flickr.

This little program I stumbled upon, when ran, will dump all traces of your Norton programs :) They say its only to be used when you can't uninstall it (corrupted install). I say, use it anyways, and get rid of all the extra registry stuff that the regular uninstall doesn't take care of ;)

HOW TO - Read your car's mind OBDII
Drew writes "If your vehicle was manufactured after 1996, it contains an On Board Diagnostic (OBD) computer that captures information about how it's running. I've put together a basic HOWTO Guide for OBD-II so that you can get started playing with it. I use ScanTool's great hardware and GPL'd software for my setup. You can use it to save money by reading error codes without a trip to the mechanic when your "check engine" light is on, capture performance data about your car's drivetrain in real-time, or log data as if it were an airplane's "black box"."
